Since receiving my OBE for services to training and people development, I have been totally blown away with the number of lovely messages I have received.
A huge thank you to everyone who has been part of my journey and supported me here. I have really appreciated your encouragement and comments.
It has been so great this month to be interviewed by three leading organisations.
Firstly an interview with the Institute of Enterprise & Entrepreneurs for their Think Enterprise Magazine. The IOEE support enterprising people and organisations across the UK and beyond and are the awarding body for Leapfrog Mountain accredited courses and qualifications.
Then onto a podcast interview with NXD who support SME by providing expert support through Non Executive Directors and Board Mentors/Advisors. I work with NXD to lead their membership in the South West.
Femnesty interviewed me around how people especially females can help themselves to get where they want to be. We work collaboratively with Femnesty as they are a network that connects women from all around the world. It exists to help women recognise and unleash the potential in their own personal and professional lives.
I hope that this extra profile will really help encourage people and organisations to recognise the importance of people development.
It's been a key theme for us this month with running courses for growth entrepreneurs on 'Leading Yourself and Others' and with our Membership offer this month's professional development module is on Personal Strategy.
One of my favourite quotes here from the amazing philosopher Winnie the Pooh :
“You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think"
So often we all just need a little help to see that and that's why people development is such an important area for business and for life.
So with my OBE now I am just waiting for the next update which is the palace date and then of course the delights of finding a hat that will stay on and learning how to curtsey properly!
If you would like to more about Leapfrog Mountain and how we can help your organisation, take a look at our programme page or get in touch.
Best wishes to all,
Jackie
